Overview
- Converts between hiragana, katakana, and romaji.
- "Kana โ Romaji" converts to Hepburn-style romaji, supporting sokuon (small tsu), yลon (contracted sounds like kya), and long vowels.
- "โ Hiragana" and "โ Katakana" can also be used to convert between hiragana and katakana, not just from romaji.
Usage

FAQ
Are sokuon (small tsu) and yลon (contracted sounds like kya) converted correctly?
"ใใฃใใ" is converted to "gakkou" by doubling the consonant to represent the sokuon, and contracted sounds like "ใใ" and "ใใ " are also correctly converted as a single syllable.
How are long vowels (ใผ) converted?
Katakana's long vowel mark (ใผ) and romaji long vowel notations are supported. Rather than strict phonetic marks (such as ฤ with a macron), vowels are repeated in the output (e.g., ใณใณใใฅใผใฟใผ โ konpyuutaa).
Can text containing kanji be converted?
Kanji is not converted to romaji, hiragana, or katakana and is output as-is. Please use text that has already been converted to hiragana or katakana.
